When director Zack Snyder and production partner and his wife, Deborah Snyder, resigned after the death of their daughter, "Avengers" director Joss Whedon was dispatched to finish the film. Whedon is said to have used 10% of Snyder's footage in the 2017 cut and The Zack Snyder Justice League 2021 Shirt! Many shots of women in the Whedon version undermine their power, strength, and agency.
