The Shagged Married Annoyed T-shirt! There was a light drizzle last night as guests entered the outdoor space of the Parrish Museum of Art in Watermill, New York. Certainly, sunny weather will take precedence; but it occasionally creates a real-life rainbow at what was already a ROYGBIV-themed pride party. For those unfamiliar with designer Alice Olivia's longstanding endorsement of Pride Month, each June, the brand supports the LGBTQ community with charity merchandise and a big giveaway. While last year's festivities were halted by the pandemic, Bendet certainly made up for it last night. “I just thought, let's do this,” she said. “It is a privilege to be able to celebrate and we should honor that. Alice Olivia hosts a Pride event every year, but this year we're hosting a Pride Prom! ” Unlike a traditional prom, no one needs to be asked; all are welcome.
Alice Olivia accompanied a group of partygoers from the city for the evening - it was breathtaking to watch them disembark from the heavy sequential shuttle bus! And arrange both a daily station and all sorts of photogenic setups for prom-style group photography. In attendance were Huma Abedin, AnnaLynne McCord, Drew Barrymore, Vito, and Stella Schnabel, Andrew Rosen, and The Shagged Married Annoyed T-shirt! The event looked like the inside of a Skittles bag: Everyone was dressed in brightly colored party attire, which featured a rainbow flower wall and faux living room backdrop decorated in monochrome yellow and red. Streets fly, lights sparkle, and all of Casamigos' tequila cocktails are garnished with lollipops. There's even a Volkswagen I.D 4 car put on Alice. By mid-evening, the dance floor was on fire with the help of DJ Ty Sunderland; but the highlight comes just before sunset when the sky turns a brilliant pinkish-purple with the rainbow splitting in the middle. Like they planned this!
