When singer-songwriter Misia stepped out to perform the Japanese national anthem “Kimi Ga Yo” in front of an empty stadium, attention quickly turned to her dramatic dress.
Cut from dozens of layers of recycled organza and with a multicolored ombré effect - created however by spray paint - it set Twitter on fire as many people compared it to everything from snow cones to cotton candy to flowers.
