"We just know we want to get married May 1 at Mill Reef Club!" That said, the health and safety of guests is always the most important factor when planning a wedding. Each guest was required to present a negative COVID test result upon their arrival, and everyone was retested prior to attending the wedding ceremony.
The Mill Reef Club staff did a great job of organizing testing and following the necessary COVID protocols,” Janie said. “And, of course, we are delighted that the vaccine is available [before our wedding] and that many of our close family and friends are able to join us for the weekend.” Janie and Ned worked with Party Fairfield's Mary Thornton to plan the entire wedding weekend. “She was the bridesmaid at my mother's wedding,” Janie said.
