Interestingly, their first meeting was at the Charlotte Hotel's Oscar Street restaurant. “It felt like a coincidence right from the start,” says Savannah. “Savannah is lovely, totally get it, and the three of us came up with a really good idea about each other and got along well the whole time,” Clara said. The mood board includes the 80s "wild" wonders and interesting sleeve shapes, but the final design is subtly skewed. The seam at the waist is angled in a "V" shape to accentuate the waist and the dress has transformed into a full mermaid train. 
“Clara was really clear about the fact that she wanted to look feminine, beautiful, and sculpted — but easy,” says Savannah. She added details like fabric buttons, delicate lace trim, and a beautiful long veil to elevate it all. Savannah also sweetly surprised Clara with her "something blue" in the form of the words "lucky to be" embroidered on the inside of the dress. “The whole ordering process with Savannah Miller Bridal helped make my dream [dress] come true,” Clara said. "I feel so lucky because that's all I envisioned from that sketch on a napkin!" Clara completed the look with a DeBeers necklace, earrings, and a simple bracelet. With beauty-wise, the bride turned to royal makeup artists Mary Greenwell (famous for her makeup on Princess Diana) and Neil Moodie for her hair. “I have worked with both of them over the years and they are not only two of the kindest, funniest, and most charming people in the industry but also the best at what they do,” said Clara. speak. “I want to keep my look natural and light, just the best version of myself — nothing on top. The bridesmaids wore De La Vali champagne doubles based on an iconic, short DLV dress known as the 'Frisco'. The fabric is the same champagne color as the bridesmaids' dresses that are tied around their baskets and is a way to tie people together without being too flashy. On the day of the wedding, the weather in England was warm as the guests gathered in Anglesey for the ceremony. Everyone was pre-tested for COVID, and the ceremony could go as Clara and Oscar imagined. After the ceremony, Clara changed into a second custom dress designed by close friends Annie Doble of vintage and sustainable chest shops, Annie's Ibiza and Clio Peppiatt.
