Sander followed her interest in art when she was 15 years old working at an art school in her hometown of Västerås, Sweden. While studying at Camberwell College of Art in London for a year, she discovered the world of textiles, a subject she explored when she enrolled at the Konstfack College of Arts, Crafts and Design. in Stockholm. For her master's project, Sander invited Carin Rodebjer to be her tutor. She became an employee of Rodebjer in 2010, after working with H&M and Whyred. In 2021, Sander left Rodebjer to pursue her dream of making “artistic and custom fashion”. 
Currently, she is working on a project with the First Aid Kit. “The pace that prevails in a fashion company doesn't make room for slower sewing and processes,” says Sander. Working on a project to empower the Swedish brand Diamonde, she has gone deeper into the field. Inspired by the previous Diemonde collection's title, "Flowers That Grow in Concrete," Sander grafted a dandelion that is sturdy enough to thrive in urban environments on the back of a shirt. coat. "I find a lot of inspiration in nature, as obvious as it seems," she says. I want fashion with less detergent and more responsible production.” In her more than a decade of working in the industry, she has observed major changes. “I feel a sense of desperation to communicate to people that they need all these new things when so many people want to stop, slow down production and work on what we have,” says Sander. had". “I feel like the world is dividing between hyperconsumerism and non-consumerism, and so is the fashion business.
