Official Michael Malice Be Hopeful Tee T-shirt! For this new collection, Magee wasn't inspired by anything in particular. But there are tried-and-true MadeMe hits like logo-covered shirts with catchy graphics. One of the key pieces is all-over denim by artist Ally Bo. Magee has also ventured into making sunglasses, the ultimate frameless sunglasses that will be available this summer. Magee worked with her longtime photographer, Mayan Toledano, to capture the new campaign images in four different locations, including in Bo's basement apartment. They also photographed model skater Akobi at Rockaway Beach, on a set made to resemble a wedding altar; remixed aughts-inspired outfits for women in Mexico; and makeup artist Gray Hoffman and models Blair Broll and Leon modeled in the Brooklyn home that Toledano and Magee describe as the "Barbie House" thanks to its feminine, pink interior. The women in MadeMe's freakishly hot designs exude a ready-to-explode. “I design them,” Magee said, pointing to pictures of Elsesser, Princess Nokia, Leon, Akobi, Hoffman, and Broll. Many of the faces Magee curated are also LGTBQIA+. While this pushed boundaries in the early days of MadeMe and streetwear, Magee notes that these are the people in her circle and are a natural fit for the brand. She's not trying to recruit someone to create buzz, but instead to recruit women in her presence who is really cool.
