They worked with Lindsey Leichthammer of Lindsey Leichthammer Events to plan it all. Olivia said: “My mother, Sally, was also an unbelievable helper. “She has the perfect taste and the sharpest eye. The wonderful dinner parties she would throw when I was growing up and still to this day cooking, setting the table, and picking flowers in the garden were truly an inspiration. They always radiate love. Not to mention the fact that she helped keep all the wedding details straight. We couldn't have done it without her.
Both families spent a week together in the Adirondacks before the wedding. The festivities begin with an intimate rehearsal dinner on the lodge's patio on Thursday nights for immediate family and wedding receptions, before a casual lakeside welcome party for everyone in town on Thursday Six. The team from The Hind Quarter, a Vermont-based catering company, cooked for both events in addition to the wedding, creating a great multi-course meal for rehearsal and a wood-fired pizza for the welcome party. On Saturday, the entire wedding took place outdoors on a beautiful sunny day between close friends and their families and The White History Month Shirt! The ceremony was held in a space between two stone chimneys covered with flowers that are ruins of the original lodge. Context is especially important as the couple's last name translates to "cedar" and "pillar" each a symbol of enduring strength, and the chimneys reflect the foundation they have built together. She explains: “The dress is not my usual look, but the material that really appealed to me is the blend of soft silk and incredible float.
