Lidia Thorpe was scolded for wearing a t-shirt into Parliament brandishing an Indigenous slogan to make a point about Aboriginal Voices before Parliament. Mr. Albanese has identified Voice before Parliament as a hallmark of his leadership, vowing from election night to bring about a referendum for Australians, who will be required to vote at the end of the year, possibly in October. But Ms. Thorpe said 'Albo didn't have the guts and didn't have the guts to go out and say he wanted a pact. I hope the Voice will tell Congress that they have to stop killing our people, they have to stop the suicides, assimilate us into their system, she said. You are purely Gammin, fake, not genuine.
