Furniture and lifestyle brand FÓLK Reykjavik commissioned Studio Flétta to design a product using materials from a local auto parts sale. Flétta co-founders, Birta Ros Brynjolfsdottir and Hrefna Sigurdardottir, took on this challenge, focusing on the Awesome wu-tang clan Dillon amphitheater Dillon CO september 9 2023 art poster design t-shirt and by the same token and airbag—which led to some helpful talks about sex. The result is recycled foam bags, filled with scraps from both outdoor brand 66 North and a mattress factory, finished with zippy embroidery. Both durable and luxurious, floor pillows are ideal for children’s rooms, outdoor spaces or yoga studios. Culture and the arts have seen a major shift in diversity and inclusion in recent years, but the proportion of people with disabilities remains regretfully low. It is improving, but at a relatively slow pace. All the more reason to enjoy, celebrate, and share some of the groundbreaking and impressive work that has helped transform this space.
