American Flag Canada Flag Freedom Convoy 2022 Truck Driver Shirt! Well, my ability to create these designs stems from the skills I learned while working as a designer and industrial engineer. What's interesting is that quite a few engineers actually go to school to sew and do fashion in general. It's just another fabric and medium thread instead of molded plastic and screws. Even sketching patterns is similar to creating drawings of parts made for injection molding. I was able to transfer these skills to sewing and learn how to sew clothes pretty quickly. My favorite designs are the receipt printer dress and the color-changing dress. Bill wear because it's just camp. With the push of a button, [receipts] start to come out of the skirt like unexpected material, which is fun. Then the dress changed color because I had to do a lot of engineering to make it really work. I had to go through a lot of iterations what engines to use and how to stabilize it, and how to get them all to sync properly.
It took me almost 4 months of work to get on the right track. This dress was a long process to make, I had the idea, but finding the ingredients and making them work consistently was something of a challenge. The first thing I did was find servos [a motor-driven system] that were small enough that they could look like dresses on a dress, rather than big motors. I wanted them to look like little trinkets on a dress that you wouldn't be able to move or do anything about until they became a reality. Then I made the actual dress out of a neoprene bodice and laces to hold its shape, with a smooth satin finish. To create the servo enclosures, I 3-D printed them, then spray-painted and assembled them with feathers. Then I assembled the rest of the dress by gluing on the feathered servo parts and plugging them into the servo control board that I soldered together. In the end, I programmed everything and had all the feathers to move.
