We want to be an inspiration. This is how change happens. It starts with the most affected fathers in the family; there is too little representation of black fathers out there. It's great to be able to showcase how these spouseless men are raising their children, sounding the alarm and demanding accountability and justice for the deaths of not only Amber and Shamony but also of all the women who have passed away. They are the ones making the call to tell people what's going on out there. It's been great for us to be able to stand back and watch the amazing community of justice warriors spawn, who have been shouting from the rooftops to get [their message] delivered to our politicians. we. Now, we have the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act in Congress and we have the vice president, Kamala Harris, who is a maternal mortality fighter. 
The White House is talking about it. Every movement comes from the community. That is a heavy question. It is most urgent that people have a little empathy and understand that Black women are human beings who should be heard when they express that they are not feeling well. In terms of medical institutions, the United States is the only industrialized country that does not have midwifery care in a health care center. I also think we need legislation to make sure that women have coverage after giving birth for at least a year because we know most of these deaths are postnatal. And then of course making sure that women have the right support when they decide to have a baby. And quite frankly, as I'm saying this, what we need is a real cultural shift in the way we think about giving birth in this country. If you want to give birth in a hospital, that's great. If you want to give birth in a birthing center with a midwife, that's great. If you want to give birth at home, that's great. Make sure she is supported in the choices she makes.
