The Mandem Couldn’t, So The Gyaldem Did – England Women’s Euro 2022 Champions London Shirt! The most important thing for me is sleep. I sleep eight or nine hours a night. I eat a pretty healthy diet. I'm not rigid. I have cut down on red meat. I have cut back on fish because the fish supply is running out. I eat vegetables. I eat salad. I eat fresh food. I'm just careful about what I eat. I don't eat a lot of sugar, except recently I have. I was in Italy for two and a half months doing the Book Club sequel and ate gelato and pasta every day while I was there. But I never gained weight. I wake up at six in the morning before the heat hits and go for an hour, an hour and a half, two hours on days that work allows me to do it. I walk a lot, and it works for me. I didn't realize that when I was younger, young people never realized how important it is to keep your body healthy because there's nothing wrong with them. Their bodies work. They take it for granted. As you get older, you realize its importance. I mean, every day when I step out of the car, I thank the goddesses that I have toned thighs, that I work out to keep them toned. When I was backing up and had to look over my shoulder, I thanked myself for keeping my flexibility and I was able to turn around without injury.
Just the basics like that you took for granted when you were young but can't do it anymore when you're older unless you're still strong and flexible. My motto now is not to get burned. It is slowing down. Everything happened very slowly. The Mandem Couldn’t, So The Gyaldem Did – England Women’s Euro 2022 Champions London Shirt! Jimmy Fallon asked me, "What kind of music do you use to practice now?" I said, "There's no music slow enough to use for my workouts." Well, for one thing, I want young people to stop worrying about getting old. What matters is not the age, not the chronological number. What is important is your health. My father passed away when I was six years old. He seemed too old because he was ill. He has heart disease. I'm not sick. So I'm almost 85, but I don't seem that old. So help young people stop being afraid of getting old, help people realize that just because you are a certain age doesn't mean you have to give up life, give up fun, give up having a boyfriend or girlfriend, make new friends, or whatever you want to do. It's still in the realm of viability for you. I think Grace and Frankie give people, especially women, a lot of hope. That's why I always let people know what my age is because I want them to realize it. Now as those words are coming out of my mouth, what I'm thinking with the second part of my brain is, Yeah, Fonda. You have money.
