Nice Grinch Cup Christmas T-shirt
Nice Grinch Cup Christmas T-shirt, Hoodie, Longsleeve Tee, And Sweater
Nice Grinch Cup Christmas T-shirt! A glorious image of Queen Elizabeth sparkled in the Norman Hartnell inscription signed by Beaton in blue and red pencils. I found his original large format color transparent image of the Queen's daughter, Princess Elizabeth, along with their original sleeves. This is part of a series of photos marking the first time in 1948 that a member of the royal family was photographed in color in Vogue. Sadly, the original Ektachrome tends to fade over time, but not these. They were still as pristine, as richly colored as when Beaton had photographed them years before. Other treasures spilled out, including unpublished portraits of Diana, Princess of Wales, when she was still Lady Diana Spencer, outdoing her first Vogue with Snowdon in 1981. There are lesser-known but evocative black-and-white press prints, for sure the hand is unknown, but no less impactful showing royal life as it developed. King George VI and Roosevelt speeding in an open-top American car.
Young Princess Elizabeth attends a Christmas pantomime, her mother the Queen in the role; Four-year-old Prince Charles pulls the faces of photographers in Windsor Great Park; poignant snapshots of last summer the Duke of Kent spent with his wife Princess Marina and their children before he was killed in a wartime air crash. It has been a tremendous privilege to take the time to look through these exceptional early images. If they are distressed, torn, or marked with crayons, all the more attractive. These are historic objects, each tear and stain a witness to the royal century. The great moments of the four dynasties unfold Coronation and jubilee, wedding and birth, one abdication and the death of two Kings; life in the urgency of war and in peacetime. Nice Grinch Cup Christmas T-shirt! All of this has been captured in Vogue's one-of-a-kind style. We hope that as we take you back more than a century in the time of the Crown in British Vogue, you'll enjoy its history and realize the magic revealed by the royal family Our family is the miracle of our lives, our common history.
